Roller Ball Contacts - T Range 23/9/2004

The T range of Roller Ball Contacts can now be supplied with a choice of contact styles. The switch has an inset ball which, when depressed, operates an internal contact. The switch can be supplied with either a normally closed or normally open contact or changeover contacts which enable the end user to select their preferred contact arrangement.
There is a choice of either 450mm leads or screw terminal connection at the back of the switch enabling easy installation. The switch is supplied with screws and spacer.
The most popular applications are on doors where the swinging or sliding door depresses the roller ball mechanism causing the contact to operate. This design enables the fitting of just one plastic housing causing less potential damage to the door. Also the possibility of tampering is less than with the alternative reed switch/magnet design.
