Ultrasonic sensors are used in industry and process automation for measurement of distance, level and proximity, are maintenance free and have a long service life, even in permanent operation.
The new UPR1503 ultrasonic sensor is based on the well established UPR series and can detect under harsh environmental conditions and independent of the target material properties. The sensors have an extended measuring range of 1500mm with analogue output in V or mA. The full scale (10V or 20mA) can be set with a multi turn potentiometer between 500 and 1500mm. Outstanding features are the compact M18 size combined with the large measuring range and the version with 90 degrees (radial) SONARANGE transducer for confine mounting conditions.
