The VBS030200 shock and motion switch has a zinc alloy case for extra strength. The contacts are designed to detect shock at 90 degrees to the switch housing. These switches are sensitive to low levels of shock and can detect down to 2G. The contacts are normally open and will momentarily close on shock. Maximum switch rating is 25mA at 24Vdc.
