Active Switch and Sensor has released a fluid level sensor to detect the presence of any water based liquid. The sensor has a unique design, which eliminates most of the problems caused by the build up of material on the conductive probes. The build up of material would normally cause the sensor's output to change and the system to fail. This patented approach, using a bias ring, improves the stability and extends the operating life, while maintaining a competitively priced product.
The LS300 can be supplied with DC, Pulsed DC and AC operation modes by customising the inbuilt electronics. Output is open collector pull to ground, 30Vdc max with 10-24Vdc, 20mA typ.Input. The sensor will operate from -40 to +125DegC.
