Active is releasing a new range of normally closed contact reed switches. The contacts are held closed by the switch's enclosed moulded magnet and switch assembly. The switch contacts are opened by using a separate magnet with its north magnetic pole directed over the end of the switch. This design gives the switch a higher switching rating with the reliability of reed switch technology. Switches can be supplied with surface mount or pcb pins.
